Michael Gove has been called out by a team within his own department over misuse of statistics in trying to refute the idea of brexit causing a 68% drop in trade put forward by the Road Haulage Association. But it should be clear from the daily reports of UK exporters struggling with brexit that Gove’s claims cannot be remotely true.
